Quiet Cannon

Hey everyone, it's Monday and with that we must once again say goodbye to another great weekend and say hello to another work week. But don't frown, just remember the wonderful memories you've just created with your friends and the many more new ones you will soon make as a new weekend is just a few days away. ..Till then, let Club Central LA get you through the week as we once again have another exclusive one-of-a-kind club review for your enjoyment. This week Club Central LA is proud to bring you a special edition of CCLA out on the town as we headed to the city of Montebello to visit one of Southern California's hottest night club, QC's 20/20 as they hosted a major Power 106 event that honored radio personality Fuzzy and featured a live electrifying performance by Mr. Nappy Boy himself, T-Pain. Before we get into all the details of the night, let's talk history. QC's 20/20 is a 33,000 sq ft venue that began its amazing journey in mid-2003 when it opened its doors for the first time. From the moment it hosted its first event, QC's 20/20 instantly became a hit with all club goers as over 2000 guests attended its grand opening. Since then, QC's 20/20 has continually pleased the party goers by hosting a variety of events that consisted of live performers, top DJs, great drinks and great people. In addition to its reputation as a hot spot for night time entertainment, QC's 20/20 has a history beyond being just a night club. This venue is located in the historic world renowned championship golf course of Montebello, the Quiet Cannon. The Quiet Cannon is a business that has been in operation for over 50 years which has catered to a variety of businesses and private parties as it is well know for its beautiful and excellent location and its spectacular customer service. The Quiet Cannon can host and accommodate any banquets, weddings, and business conferences. With its success as a multi-purpose venue, the Quite Cannon isn't going anywhere for many, many years.

Parking

Parking is in abundance as the Quiet Cannon complex can accommodate an exorbitant amount of cars. This grandiose place can house approximately 800 vehicles. The price for parking can vary from night to night, depending on the event, but it usually averages $3 - $10.

Entrance

Doors open from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am Thursdays through Saturdays for most events. However, time is subject to change without notice. Once you arrive at the main doors, you will be greeted by security personnel asking for identification to ensure that one is of proper age. For most nights the age requirement is 21 and over, except on Thursdays when the age requirement is 18 and over. You will be turned away if you do not meet these requirements. In addition to an age requirement, QC's 20/20 has a strict dress code that will be strongly enforced with no exception. That means if you come dressed in baggy jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, shorts, or tennis shoes you will not be given access to QC's 20/20. So make sure your attire is both presentable and respectable if you do not want to be turned away by security. The cover charge is $20 dollars per person for most nights but price is also subject to change without notice for a special event or concert. If you would like to reduce the entrance fee, QC's 20/20 offers a guest list that can do exactly that. To access the guest list and get more information, please call or visit their web site.

Venue

Once inside, patrons will quickly notice the grand size and modern décor of this magnificent two level venue. Each room is decorated in nothing but the best in today's modern design and fashion as each room has it own style and vibe. For instance, the main room is equipped with two massive fully stocked bars with excellent staff; a huge 35 ft x 48 ft dance floor with an array of sitting and VIP sections all around, a DJ booth that overlooks the entire dance floor and a massive outside patio with bar. On the second floor one will have just as much fun, as this level is quite different from the main floor. The top floor is equipped and designed with nicely sized flat screen TV's all around, a 23 ft x 34 ft dance floor that is perfect for dancing, two more fully stocked bars with excellent bartenders and a seating and VIP arrangement that overlooks the entire main room. Finally, the lighting effects were spectacular as the light radiance was in sync with the music giving off countless energy to the dancing crowd. No matter the room you decide to party in, you're ensured to have a great time.

VIP/Bottle service

If you're looking for a venue that not only offers great service and entertainment but world class VIP treatment, QC's 20/20 is the club for you. VIP service is more than just selling a bottle and sitting a client down. At QC's 20/20 VIP treatment is all about making the client feel special and welcomed. This venue offers all its patrons a wide selection of VIP areas and bottles that will make for an excellent time. Bottle service prices start at $150 per bottle that includes all mixers, sodas, juices, a VIP booth and free entrance for 6 people, a VIP package you won't find in many night clubs. The most expensive bottle you will find at QC's is Hennessy XO Cognac which has a price of $550 per bottle, which is said to be one of the finest tasting cognacs. In addition to the wide selection of bottles, QC's has a vast amount of VIP sections that can accommodate many patrons. Each VIP section is decorated beautifully and styled a bit differently from each other in order to compliment the different personalities of clients who visit. For example, on the main floor the VIP sections are designed with a party attitude in mind as each VIP section is furnished with large dark plush lounges, a grand table for placing one's drinks and bottles, easy access to the bar, the main dance floor and the outside patio. These VIP sections are perfect for those who truly want to be close to the action and want to experience the true VIP lifestyle. If you're looking for more of a secluded area where you can get quite intimate with your guest, the VIP sections located on the second floor is the perfect place for you. These sections are designed with dim lighting, comfortable seating, and a view that overlooks the entire main dance floor. These areas are perfect if you want to spend some quality time with a love interest. Regardless of the VIP section you choose, QC's is sure to treat you like a king as they will do their best to make your stay as memorable as possible.

Now if bottle service and VIP treatment isn't VIP enough for you and you want to throw your own private party, Quiet Cannon can make this happen as they are greatly known for hosting spectacular events. However, make sure you at least have $35,000 to spend if you plan to get their interest. That means that QC's 20/20 will listen to your offer but doesn't guarantee a deal.

Music

Music for the night was incredible as QC's teamed up with Big Boy from Power 106 to host an electrifying event that honored the birthday of long time radio personality Fuzzy. The night featured a host of top DJs that did their thing to hype up the crowd as Power 106 had a special surprise for the QC's 20/20 audience. DJ Solo began the excitement as he played an excellent mix of RAP and POP that had everyone moving to the beat. DJ ART G continued the frenzy as he laid down the law by playing nothing but the best in today top 40's. Special Guest DJ, DJ E-MAN built up the anticipation of the crowd as he spun a superb mix that consisted of every genre that had the crowd hypnotized. As the night progressed, the crowd became more and more restless as they wanted to see the main performer. T-Pain came to QC's to help Big Boy and Power 106 rock the west coast. With a loud uproar from the audience, T-Pain began his incredible performance that had everyone going crazy. He sang all his top hits such as "I'm Sprung" and "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')" as well as songs from his new album "Thr33 Ringz", which was just released, Tuesday (11-11-08). Not once during his entire performance was there anyone sitting down or not screaming as both the guys and the girls tried their hardest to shake T-Pain's hand or just take a picture. T-Pain turned QC's 20/20 from a night club into a zoo as his performance will soon not be forgotten.
