Where's the one place on earth that offers you the best in music, food, and nighttime entertainment? The place where there's always something to do with your friends, no matter the time or day, the place is L.A.! Los Angeles is the city to be in if you are looking for total non-stop fun and action. Los Angeles is filled with a vast variety of night clubs, bars, and lounges that will surely make for a night to remember. Yet, with Los Angeles having such a wide selection of choices in nighttime attractions, it can sometimes be nerve racking deciding where one should go. Luckily for you, Club Central LA is to here to help you with all your partying needs as we bring you nothing but the best in after hour hot spots. Each week, Club Central LA heads out to a different city in search of today's top party scene in order to introduce to you the finest in night time entertainment. This week, CCLA stayed true to its name as we cruised down the streets of downtown Los Angeles to find ourselves arriving at one of L.A.'s longest running and well known nightclub establishments, Club Vertigos. Club Vertigos is a 5,000 sq ft multi purpose venue that has been through the years as one of So. Cal's premier 21 and over nightclub. For over 13 years Vertigos has been dominating the club scene by offering everyone great music and a great environment. Vertigos began this long and prosperous history back in the early 90's when club owner Mr. Constantino would come about a structure that he believed was in a prime location and would make for a superb night club. Mr. Constantino would soon buy the property and would quickly begin construction to bring his vision of a spectacular night club into reality. In June of 1995, Vertigos was finally ready to open its doors to the public. There was much anticipation as everyone wanted to set their dancing feet in L.A.'s newest club. As suspected, Vertigos grand opening was a major hit with the Angelinos as masses flocked to the newest dancing playground. Since then, Vertigos has been running strong with no indication of ever letting up. That is why we saw fit to review this significant venue to show you why L.A. is the place to be.

Parking

Even though Vertigos does not have their own parking area, it is located next to a public parking lot that is only a few feet away from the club's entrance. This public parking area holds approximately 200 vehicles on a demanding night. The cost to park your vehicle ranges anywhere from $7 - $10 depending on the night or event. However, there are other parking areas like the surrounding streets, but this one would be the closest without having to walk a great deal.

Entrance

Doors open at 9:00 pm Thursday through Sunday. Early arrival is suggested on most nights. Once you and your guests arrive at the main door you will be greeted by a host of security personnel checking I.D.'s for proper age requirement. If you do not meet the age requirement you will be asked to leave. - (Please note that Vertigos is a 21 and over establishment that has and offers 18 and over events on certain nights, so be aware of the night you are going and make sure you meet the age requirement). - In addition, Vertigos has a dress code policy that varies from night to night and is regularly based on a Hollywood trendy dressing style. Yet, Vertigos is not completely strict on their dress code policy, so as long as you look presentable, meaning no baggy attire, you will be admitted. The cover charge varies from night to night. On Thursday and Friday, the price of admissions ranges from $10 - $15. On Saturdays the price of admissions is $15 and on Sundays it is $10. On the nights that the price of admission fluctuates, make sure to visit the Vertigos website to get the correct admission price. Vertigo also offers a guest list on their website for every night, except on Friday. If you get on the guest list, the entrance fee will be waived, so make sure you check it out.

Venue

Once inside this venue, patrons will have access to the two rooms Vertigos has to offer. The first room is located as soon as you enter the club. This 3000 sq ft area is considered to be the venue's main room. This main section is equipped with an 800 sq ft dance floor, a fully stocked bar, 6 VIP areas, a DJ Booth on an elevated platform and dancing stages where beautiful GO-GO dancers shake their moneymaker. The second room, which is located right across from the main room, is a 2000 sq ft area and is considered the lounging area of Vertigos even though this room gets just as wild as the main room. This Lounge area is equipped with a 750 sq ft dance floor, another fully stocked bar with well trained staff, nicely sized flat screens TV's for your viewing pleasure and 6 more private seating lounges for your VIP needs. Whichever room you decide to party in, it will make for an outstanding night.

Music

Music at Vertigos for this particular night was incredible as Vertigos hosted a major league line up of all star DJ's to spin the one's and two's all night long. Each DJ did their part to pump up the crowd and electrify the masses by making excellent choices in music selection and mixes. In the main room, DJ Robert U got the party started by playing a wide selection of music that consisted of today's top hits and had every one moving and grooving to the beats. DJ Porn kept the party going and had every one feeling x-rated as he mixed a selection of fast paced, bump and grind music that had every one stimulated and wanting more. DJ Lady Kate finished the crowd off by playing and mixing a variety of genres that combined her beauty and style that had the crowd fulfilled.

In the Lounge room, DJ Kilo and DJ Leslie took care of business as they did their part to have the house rockin'. DJ Kilo selected a mix of mash ups, and hip hop that turned this lounging area into a full out zoo. DJ Leslie brought sexy back and had the entire crowd in the palm of her hands as she played the best in top 40's, today's alternative rock, and classic 80's, a winning combination.

VIP/Bottle Service

If VIP treatment and bottle service is what you like and is what you need, look no farther than Vertigos. Vertigos is a premier venue that offers all its clientele a wide selection of bottles and VIP areas that are sure to please you and come at half the cost of most other night clubs. Bottle service begins at a price of $175 per bottle up to $300 per bottle with Grey Goose Vodka and Patron Tequila being the venue's most desired bottles. VIP sections are plentiful and beautiful as Vertigos is equipped with 12 lovely designed VIP areas to choose from. However, there are two VIP areas in particular that will catch your attention and is the most luxurious areas. The first one is the White Lounge located at the far back wall. This area has beautiful white décor that includes long supple curtains and soft relaxing couches that one will find pleasing to sit and relax. This section is perfect for anyone who's looking for that charming, elegant area to enjoy with friends. However, this section does have a two bottle minimum that requires a party of at least 15 patrons. So make sure you have a large party of people before asking for this area. The second VIP section is located by the entrance of the main floor on the left hand corner of the room. This area is decorated in black décor with very dim lightening with a small spotlight that helps to illuminate the area and give for a very sensual feeling within the intimate seating area. This section is the VIP area of choice if you wish to get close with that special someone.

If VIP treatment isn't enough for you and you want to shut down the club, Vertigos will allow you to do this at a price of $10,000. However, this price is subject to change depending on the type of request and on which night the club is subject to close its doors to the public.

Events

As mentioned before, Vertigos is a very diverse and versatile venue that captures the true essence of the City of Angels by hosting a range of Friday night events that caters to the different personalities of the city. One event in particular is the Cat Walk which is hosted every first Friday of each month. The Cat Walk is an event that began four years ago with the plan of giving girls with an open mind a night of their own. This event has quickly become of the most successful events in Vertigos history.
